Privacy policy

BridgeOpsX OÜ (“we”) runs the website bridgeopsx.com. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act.

This policy covers the website only. How the BridgeOpsX service handles vessel data is described on Privacy & data and agreed in each customer’s contract.

1. Who is responsible

The controller is BridgeOpsX OÜ, registry code 17084573, Tallinn, Estonia. Contact: info@bridgeopsx.com.

2. What we collect

When you apply for the Founder Pilot or ask for a demo, you give us:

• your name
• your email address
• the vessel’s name and length
• your role

When you send the form, our server also records the time, your IP address and browser type, to protect the site from spam and abuse.

Cookies and analytics. With your consent, we use cookies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising:

• Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd): visits, pages viewed and where visitors come from.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company): to measure and show our ads on LinkedIn.

These cookies are set only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you click “Decline”, none are set and the site works exactly the same. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. The only thing we store without consent is your choice itself.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to you, arrange a demo and discuss a possible pilot (steps before a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To keep short security logs (our legitimate interest in protecting the site, Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Analytics and advertising measurement, only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time.

We never sell your data.

4. Who sees it

Only the BridgeOpsX team reads applications. Our processors are our Estonian hosting and email provider Veebimajutus OÜ, which stores the data on servers in the European Union, and, only if you accept cookies, Google Ireland Ltd (Google Analytics) and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (LinkedIn Insight Tag).

5. How long we keep it

Applications and related emails: up to two years, then deleted unless we are working together. Security logs: 30 days. Analytics data: 14 months. Your cookie choice: 12 months, then we ask again.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Applications and emails stay in the European Union. If you accept cookies, Google and LinkedIn may process analytics data in the United States. Both take part in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and Standard Contractual Clauses apply as required by GDPR Chapter V.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, limit its use, give it to you in a portable format, or stop using it. Write to info@bridgeopsx.com; we reply within 30 days.

You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, Tatari 39, Tallinn 10134, www.aki.ee) or the authority in your own EU country.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we tell you by email.
